In high school, I also worked in my local two-room library, and work-study in college included government documents, special collections, and preservation/repair. In library school I specialized in archives management but ended up working as a law librarian. After working with lawyers for 10 years, I wanted to find a more mature group of patrons, so I joined RPL as a Teen Librarian!
My hobby is working on arts and craft projects that I never finish. At the moment, I have ongoing (not-yet-done) projects in knitting, watercolor, calligraphy, iris folding, jewelry making, quilling, and piece quilting. I also adore building LEGOs and jigsaw puzzles.
I am a quarter Korean and a quarter Chinese. My grandfather, who was Korean, was named Achilles Fang and has a Wikipedia page.
