As a child, I was a frequent visitor and active summer reading participant at the Reading Public Library. Inspired by the fun and the magic of the stories I checked out and the programs I attended, I decided to work in libraries in order to help provide a safe, peaceful, and comforting environment for others to study, learn, grow, and connect. I love making a positive difference in the community by helping out all around the library in ways big and small. I previously worked at a small public accounting firm specializing in tax preparation for about eight years. I was also a “VolunTeen” and Library Page at RPL for about nine years. My favorite book is “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald. My favorite movie is “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”. My favorite musical artist is Blink 182. The best book I have read recently is "How to Live Without You" by Sarah Everett. The book that changed my life the most is "Because of Winn-Dixie" by Kate DiCamillo. I would bring a hand axe, magnifying glass, and Boogie Board with me to a deserted island. I am a lifelong resident of Reading, MA. When I am not working, I love to walk my dog Maisey, bike, knit, read, bake, play videogames, and spend time with family. I used to play the drums, xylophone, and other percussion instruments.
