I always loved going to the Reading Public Library as a kid, it's great to be back now and work alongside Chumley and the cheerful staff in the children's room. The best book I have read recently is "Warrior Girl Unearthed" by Angeline Boulley! I saw the author speak at the National Book Festival in Washington, DC. In college, my trumpet lessons teacher suggested I read "The Souls of Black Folk" by W. E. B. Du Bois. It continues to amaze me how relevant a book from 1903 feels to the present moment. I've reread the book a few times now, and had projects and internships that draw from it. In the past few years, I've found a community of fellow Du Boisians.
