Local Reading partners list

Hi everyone,

I am working on a list of our local partner organizations and the RPL staff liaisons. I thought we’d already had one, but I can’t find it it lives on the S drive under:  Library Files\02 Working Groups and Teams\Outreach Working Group

While this is a living document, I’d like to have any current liaisons listed by Thursday, December 19th.

Thanks!

Michelle

Pocket Talk Translator-Update

We now have an additional PocketTalk Translator. It will live at the Ground Floor desk.

There are now 3 translators, one at Borrower Services, one that is shared between Childrens and the R & R desk. A copy of the instructions is in the box and I encourage staff members to test it out. I know that it has been used a few times already and it worked well.
The instructions are also saved under the Manuals/Instructions folder on the S Drive.

Health Nook Kiosks

Two new iPad kiosks in the Health Nook are set to the Health Resources page of the RPL website. There is also a new Bluetooth Health Nook Printer. Library users can print directly to this printer from the iPads. The Health Nook printer is discoverable by any Apple device so library users may accidently print to it. If that happens please let me know, I want to track it to see if it becomes an issue.

(some) S Drive Files Moving

Some files in the Administrative folder on the S drive are moving to the more secure town drive. If there is a file that you had previously used and it appears to be missing or in a folder labeled “delete”, let Meaghan C. know right away.

This is the start of a bigger project that may begin in the next 6 months. Questions? Ask Amy, Michelle, or Meaghan C.

App Issues-Let Michelle know!

If a person comes in with an issue with the RPL app, please get the following information and send me an email with:

What the issue is/with screenshots if possible
Type of phone/android/iphone/operating version
App version installed.

I need this information when I put in a ticket with our app developers.
